These straight mono threads are the perfect starter thread for folks beginning their thread lifting journey. The threads are also ideal for creating a  meshed area (think of it as a hashtag) under the skin, which can create a more solid foundation for new collagen production. 

Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) is another material often chosen for surgical sutures. Among other things like the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, sculpting, tightening. lifting, improvement in tone and texture, PLLA can function as a volumizer and is able to stimulate the production of Type 1 and Type 3 collagen. PLLA has been observed to be even more effective at stimulating collagen production than PDO! Amazing stuff! This material has a lifetime of two years or more, and once dissolved, the PLLA breaks down into harmless ordinary substances like lactate, glucose, carbon dioxide and water. Threads dissolve after 12-18 months and you can see benefits for 24-36 months.
